First, the app:
It allows you to see your nights snoring at a glance, graphically. Beats having to go through hours and hours of audio. Seeing this is, if nothing else, interesting. Certain patterns are visible - probably your REM cycles or something. Im no doctor.
Now, the limitations:
I didnt bother with the nudges. Mostly, I only use this app to track my sleep patterns, and occasionally for comparison when I try something new to curtail snoring. I had nudges turned on for the first couple nights, but dont remember hearing them once (and they didnt work, according to the charts).
Most impressive was the customer service.
I emailed the developer with an enhancement request (to be able to delete a nights audio but keep the graph) and received a response within 6 hours. Im sure the time zone differences helped, but still, that demonstrates a desire to connect with the users. The developer replied with details on related upcoming changes, and indicated that my request was already being looked at. He even included his mobile number, in case I wanted to get in touch with him!
All in all, an impressive app that hopefully has a bright future. $5 may be on the high end when compared to most other apps, but its also on the low end compared to the hardware of your iPad or your morning cup of coffee. Just to put it in perspective.
